Privacy Policy
Daily Drive ("we") is a daily football trivia game for iPhone and the web. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions: dailydrivetrivia@gmail.com.
Data stored on your device
Your results, streak, badges, settings and the optional display name you type for challenge links are saved only on your device (in the app's local storage). We never receive them. Deleting the app or using Settings > Reset all progress removes them.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use Mixpanel to understand how the game is played, for example how many people finish each day's drive, how many come back the next day, and which questions are too hard. When usage stats are on, the app sends Mixpanel:
- gameplay events, such as opening the app, starting and finishing a drive, each answer (right, wrong or out of time, and how long it took), sharing a scorecard, opening a challenge link, and tapping a drop alert;
- a random identifier created by the app (not your name, email, phone number or advertising ID);
- technical details: device or browser type, app version and time zone;
- an approximate location (city or region) that Mixpanel derives from your IP address.
This data is not linked to your identity, is used only for analytics, and is not shared with advertisers or data brokers. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. To stop it, turn off Settings > Anonymous usage stats.
Notifications
If you turn on drop alerts, the reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS. We do not collect a push token or any contact details. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your phone's Settings at any time.
Sharing and challenge links
When you choose to share, your scorecard image, answer times and (if you entered one) your display name are included in the message and link you send. Nothing is shared unless you tap share.
Website hosting
The game's website and question files are hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Children
Daily Drive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and requests
You can turn off usage stats and notifications, or reset your progress, at any time in the app. Because analytics are not linked to your identity, we usually cannot find your data by name; if you have a request about your data, email us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
